Change the website without casually breaking the business behind it.
A website migration is more than copying pages. We map the domain, DNS, email records, analytics, indexed URLs, forms and integrations first so the launch has a documented path.
Your domain and core accounts should not disappear into an agency black box.
SkyReelz plans around the accounts the business already owns. Access is requested for the work that actually needs it, and the cutover is documented before production changes are made.
What we check before moving the site.
Not every project uses every item, but the inventory prevents the common mistake of treating the website as if it exists by itself.
A deliberate cutover instead of a Friday-night DNS gamble.
Inventory before change
Document the current domain, DNS, email records, website, forms, analytics, Search Console, ad landing pages, tracking, third-party tools and important content.
Decide what is actually worth keeping
Separate valuable pages, proof, rankings, content and integrations from outdated material that should not be copied forward just because it exists.
Build the new structure in parallel
The replacement site is developed and reviewed before the production domain is pointed at it whenever the hosting setup allows.
Map old URLs to new destinations
Priority indexed URLs are matched to the most relevant replacement page and redirected where appropriate instead of being abandoned as 404s.
Protect DNS-dependent services
Email and other DNS records are inventoried before cutover so a website launch does not casually break unrelated systems.
Launch, verify and stabilize
Forms, calls-to-action, redirects, analytics, indexing signals, mobile behavior and priority integrations are checked again on the live domain.
Email guardrail
Website DNS changes are planned around the existing email records instead of assuming the domain only serves a website.
SEO guardrail
Important URLs are inventoried and redirected where appropriate so valuable entry points are not thrown away unnecessarily.
Measurement guardrail
Analytics and conversion tracking are checked after launch so a redesign does not create a blind spot in reporting.
Ownership guardrail
The client keeps control of core business accounts; access and transfer expectations are documented in the project agreement.
What businesses usually worry about before switching.
Do I have to move my domain to SkyReelz?
No. We prefer that the business or organization retain control of its domain. We only need the access required to configure the approved website launch.
Can SkyReelz move a Wix, Squarespace or other site to WordPress?
Yes, depending on the existing site and scope. It is usually a rebuild/migration rather than a one-click copy because page structure, content and integrations need to be evaluated.
Will our email stay working?
That is the goal. Email-related DNS records are inventoried before website DNS changes. We do not intentionally change the email system unless that is separately approved.
Will we lose SEO rankings?
No provider can responsibly guarantee rankings will remain identical after a redesign. We reduce unnecessary risk by preserving valuable content signals, mapping important URLs, using redirects where appropriate, and verifying Search Console/analytics after launch.
What happens to the old website?
The transition plan depends on the old provider and hosting access. We coordinate the cutover so the new site is ready before the public domain changes whenever possible.
Can we keep our current forms, booking system or payment provider?
Often, yes. We inventory those systems early and decide whether to preserve, reconnect or replace each one based on compatibility and project goals.
We can start by mapping the risk before you agree to the rebuild.
Domain, email, SEO, forms, tracking and third-party tools first. Design comes after we know what the launch has to preserve.
